Teacher salary plan needs update: CEO

THE current model for teachers’ salaries, that sees incremental wage in­creases linked to years of service, is outdated and in need of review, says Dr Dan White, executive director of ­Cath­olic schools in the Sydney archdiocese.

His comments are in response to an OECD re­port that encourage the linking of career structures to teaching standards.
