Coles tackles alcohol problem with a floor price of $8 a bottle
Why was a minimum floor price on alcohol so hard. Surely there is enough evidence world-wide on the benefits of pricing policy and volumetric taxing to make this a no-brainer. As usual, votes and money are a sure-fire combination for removing politicians’ moral sense.
