I like what you had to say to Peter Fitzsimons. Although I like his wit and his Sun Herald column I agree with what you have to say. He goes too far in mocking the Christian faith. I suggest he read the book “God and the Big Bang” It contains the beliefs and explanations of the Big Bang theory of over 20 prominent Scientists, Mathematicians, Physicists, Geologists etc. who are
eminent in their fields and still have strong Christian beliefs. They see no
conflict with Religion and Science. Peter likes to makes out The Bible explanation of God and the Christians faith in Jesus, to be likened to a fairy story or myth. He refers to God as “our imaginary friend” which is insulting
