ATAR Eligibility with English Studies
Seems a bit daft to me: wasn’t the reasons they did this course because the candidates were non-ATAR? Wish we were a trialling school.

Students undertaking English Studies pilot study not eligible for an ATAR
Schools must ensure that students enrolled in the Preliminary English Studies course understand that they will not be eligible for an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).
The English Studies Content Endorsed Course was designed for students who have a pattern of study for their Higher School Certificate that does not lead to an ATAR.
The Board of Studies has endorsed the course for the pilot study so that it can be used to count towards the compulsory units in English for the Higher School Certificate. However, the ATAR must include the best two units of a Board Developed Course in English.
Schools should review their English Studies entries immediately to ensure that students are correctly enrolled.
